Tom Thompson is a founding member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Energy Committee.  The mission of this public policy committee is to engage in dialogue, education, and advocacy on energy issues facing Massachusetts employers.  Membership on this committee is composed of top executives in the areas of traditional & alternative energy; energy infrastructure, transmission & management; and the region’s leading industries.  The focus of the committee includes issues relating to energy efficiency, costs, generation (traditional and clean technology), and transmission.  As CEO of Eco Power Solutions, Mr. Thompson has been selected by Greater Boston’s leading business advocacy group as a founding member of this extremely important Chamber of Commerce committee.

Eco Power Solution's Comments to the EPA

Read the comments Eco Power Solutions filed with the US EPA which focus on its need to improve consideration of innovative technology when determining BACT (Best Available Commercial Technology).

Eco Power Solutions indicates in the comments that it has developed technology for removing SO2 and NOx without generating the large waste streams associated with conventional SO2 scrubbers while significantly improving NOx collection compared to selective non–catalytic reduction.
